Re 14:12

Let this encourage God's holy people to endure persecution patiently and remain firm to the end, obeying his commands and trusting in Jesus.

Persecution is the future for Christians.

That is not a statement of complaint. There will be no defending of faith. It isn’t necessary. All we have to do is pray for strength and let it happen.

It tells us that in the Bible. There is no way around it, just as Jesus had no choice but to be crucified.

2Ti 3:12

Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

If Christians were to take a firm hold of the world as we know it and dominate a socially peaceful life as most of us would prefer then the promises of God would be false. Persecution for Christians is a good thing. Notice I say ‘for’ Christians and not ‘of’ Christians. The actual acts of persecution can be of the worst kind but the fact that it is happening is a good omen for us as it is meant to happen. God has told us this. Jesus has told us this. It has to happen and it has to escalate. The fact that it is happening more and more is proof of the truth of God’s words and a sign that God’s promises for the end of times are coming true.

2Th 1:7

And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven.

Non believers can cry ‘fanatics’ and ‘fantasists’ and all the other derogatory words used to hide their ignorance and fear but it doesn’t make what is happening any less true. Fanatics tend to explode their beliefs in the faces of all those who oppose them.

Whether you believe that the signs of the times pertain to the truths foretold in the bible, is up to you. This site is concerned with shining the light of God upon his own words; to let those who will see understand that the terrible times we live in will not be lived in vain.

Yes we live in scary times. The world seems to have gone mad. We watch and listen to the news of destruction and death every day. It will get worse and it will affect us all. Frightening times; horrific happenings; the stuff of nightmares.

There will be no sensationalism or ranting or pleadings here. Just a prayer that all who see, hear and feel these persecutions will remember the words of our Lord and rest in him, assured that we will not be made to suffer for too long.

We are called not to fight or defend in these times. Just stand firm in our faith and trust God.

Let us be ready for the time promised by Jesus. It is hard. Very hard. But there are no variations of the truth to choose from. We live or we die by one truth. Let’s pray we will be ready.

This is not an evangelical site, nor a call to arms or a site for vengeance against persecutors. It is not a site to collect signatures to lobby governments to get them to see society’s plight, or to get them to make changes to a crumbling world. These things would be pointless. What will happen, will happen. We cannot and should not change what God has told us will happen. We are called to evangelism not to change the world for easier, safer lives but to change its people for readiness for God’s end plan. And this site in particular is to offer support to those who are intimidated or afraid or tempted to give up or who feel weakened through persecution or just weary of life itself.

This is a simple site for those who see that the reflection of the bible’s promises in today’s world is simply the truth of God.

Ro 12:14

If people persecute you because you are a Christian, don't curse them; pray that God will bless them.
